Clarity and support for what comes next.
SFI – Sport & Future Initiatives is a consultancy and facilitation company working across sport — with trust, discretion, and long-term perspective.
In sport, moments of transition often arrive quietly — when careers and contracts end, priorities shift, or familiar structures fall away. Support that once felt automatic can disappear overnight, leaving complex decisions to be navigated without the frameworks that previously held things in place.
SFI – Sport & Future Initiatives works alongside those navigating change, offering trusted support, calm coordination, and future-focused thinking.
Our approach is discreet and grounded in long-standing experience across sport and its surrounding industries.
Experience, discretion, and long-term perspective.
SFI – Sport & Future Initiatives was founded with a simple but powerful idea: to support people, partners, and projects across sport through trusted, long-standing relationships. Founded by seasoned businessman and QPR No.10 Foundation Chairman Colin Hale, SFI began as a way to support former players who were also personal friends, at pivotal moments. Since then, it has evolved into a discreet, bespoke practice supporting projects, partnerships, and future planning across the sporting landscape and its surrounding industries.
Now joined by Terence Parris — a global brand and sports marketing strategist whose career spans Apple, PUMA, and some of the world's leading sporting brands — SFI brings together financial insight, cultural intelligence, and an exceptional contact base built over decades.
Together, Colin and Terence offer something rare: a bridge between worlds. Colin's financial expertise and network of trusted sporting relationships combine with Terence's global brand experience and strategic perspective. Their long-standing friendship, formed well before SFI took shape, is the cornerstone of the organisation — providing a foundation of trust and integrity in an industry where relationships are often transactional.
SFI works quietly and selectively, helping people and partners navigate complexity and transition — particularly during the period following a professional sporting career. We don't sell products or promise outcomes. We facilitate, connect, and support, drawing on experience and established networks to inform thoughtful decisions about what comes next.
What We Do
Post-Career & Transitional Support
Support around moments of change in and around professional sport — particularly when careers end, priorities shift, or familiar structures fall away. We work discreetly to help steady the ground and navigate what comes next.
Projects, Partnerships & Coordination
Strategic support for projects and partnerships across sport and its surrounding industries, from early-stage ideas through to live delivery. We help align stakeholders, coordinate moving parts, and support progress where clarity and trust matter.
Advisory & Strategic Involvement
Selective advisory involvement around complex or sensitive situations — including governance, legacy considerations, and long-term planning. Our role is thoughtful, discreet, and shaped by context.
Let's talk
Not every conversation needs a formal brief or a fixed outcome.
SFI – Sport & Future Initiatives works best when discussions start informally — with space to explore context, ask the right questions, and understand what's really needed before anything is defined.
Whether you're navigating a period of change, exploring a new project or partnership, or dealing with a situation that requires discretion and experience, an initial discussion can help clarify next steps.
All conversations are treated as confidential. There is no obligation, no pressure, and no expectation of a defined engagement.
How to get in touch
We ask that initial contact is made by email.
This allows us to understand the context and respond appropriately, and ensures enquiries are handled with care and discretion.

A note on how we work
Much of our work is discreet and shaped by context. We don't advertise case studies or list clients publicly, and we don't operate a standardised service model.
Each conversation is approached on its own terms, shaped by trust, experience, and what is realistically required.
